It's the Golden Trio's fourth year at Hogwarts, and for them there's no time to even think about having a somewhat normal year. What with the happenings at the Quidditch World Cup, it seems like all of a sudden the entire Wizarding World has been put on edge. Things get even crazier, as usual, when the Trio step back through the familiar doors to Hogwarts and find out about the upcoming Triwizard Tournament, a legendarily dangerous event. Thanks to the tournament, Hogwarts has now opened its doors to people of other countries, and will play host to this magnificent event.
The tasks of the Triwizard Tournament are promised to be both thrilling and dangerous, and things heat up even more so when four champions are unwillingly chosen. Harry Potter, the luckiest boy in the world, has been entered into the tournament and is now forced to participate along with Fleur Delacour, Viktor Krum, and Cedric Diggory, all of whom have more magic knowledge than young Harry. The boy wonder won't back down, however, and pushes through the tasks with his head held high.
And yet, among all of the excitement brought on by the tournament, the moderately normal routine that Hogwarts school provides still continues. Quidditch games are still played this year, after Headmaster Albus Dumbledore realized that perhaps the games could bring the young witches and wizards closer. Girls and boys are nervously asking each other to the Yule Ball, and gossip reverberates off the walls without any effort. In the end, Hogwarts is still a school, and even as the times grow dark it continues to thrive and pulse with magical life, keeping tradition and value alive.
